Ginger melon is a dark pink cream. This formula is a little thinner than the Lime Basil. It goes on easy and smooth. It smells like honeydew melon with a little spice.
I definitely think these are great spring/summer colors. I can't believe how much I like most of these polishes. They are great base colors or worn alone. The scents are fragrant yet not too powerful. The ones that were very thick and unattractive looking on my nails are the Lavender Soap, Sunlit Grass and the Pink Pineapple. I think the smell and formula of the pink pineapple is the worst out of all of them. Its a sugary sickening sweet smell where the polish pools at the cuticles and is hard to make even on the nail. My favorites are Wintermint (A Deborah Lippman Dupe), Spun Sugar (My favorite to use as a base for nail designs), China Flower, and Moonlit Woods.
