This week at Rite Aid Neutrogena cosmetics were 40% off. That is a great deal for Neutrogena. But what sealed the deal for me was that I found $2 off coupons on a Neutrogena display at a Rite Aid near my summer cottage.
Below is what I ended up getting at Rite Aid using the $2 mfc's and 40% sale. I also had a $2 off Neutrogena cosmetic Video Value coupon from Rite Aid which I was able to use with a $2 MFC.
I picked up from Rite Aid the Neutrogena healthy skin Iiquid makeup. It contains SPF 20 and helps keeps skin looking young and healthy. I paid $5.80 for this foundation. Retail price was $12.99.
I bought the Neutrogena SkinClaring mineral powder. You can use the powder 2 ways to cover, treat and prevent breakouts. There is a 2 sided sponge that can give you sheer or fuller coverage.
I bought 2 shades of the crease proof eye shadow: Slver and Copper. These have a built in primer that prevents the creasing. I claims the cream shadow instantly revives and brightens eyes. After the 40% and $2 MFC, I paid $3.40 for each of them. Retail price is $8.99 each. The shadows applied very creamy and opaque. I was disappointed in the copper shadow. It wasn't the copper color I was expecting. |
I purchased a Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick lip gloss in 'soft raspberry' . I paid $4 after coupons and sales. These retail for $9.99 each I also bought a revitalizing lip balm in 'Petal Glow'. It is a very nice sheer tint. It has SPF 20 that claims softer, rosier and healthier looking lips, even after you take it off in just one week. I like the color of the rosé tint so I will be definitely be using this daily. I am interested to see after a week's use how my lips look and feel. This was $8.99. I paid $3.40 for the lip balm. |
Overall I am looking forward to trying out the Neutrogena cosmetics, I have never been able to afford them at full price but with a 40% off sale and $2 mfc's. , I was able to try a nice variety of cosmetics.
