The colors blend together seamlessly and they have great pigmentation. I like the range of colors and every combination I have used has looked great. They blend easily together and the colors blend out almost perfectly. With some eyeshadows when I blend, I end up blending away most of the color. Then I have to reapply. That doesn't happen with these. And for 70% off I know if I don't get them now, I will regret it. I got $71.00 of Pixi cosmetics for $20.00. (Picture Heavy)
I thought these were nail polishes until I got them home. I liked them more after I realized they were lip glosses. I didn't really read the box. I just grabbed them and put them in my basket. I was too excited that I still found Pixi gift sets a week after I first saw them. | This is an 'icy lip luster' holiday 2013 lip gloss gift set. There are 2 shimmer glosses and 2 tinted glosses. It was originally $15.00 and on clearance for $4.50 The first color is a peachy pink iridescent shimmer gloss. The next is a raspberry tinted gloss. The 3rd gloss is a pearly white iridescent shimmer and the last is a mauve tinted gloss. The shimmery glosses leave no color behind. They do leave a pretty iridescent shine behind. I can see wearing these with dramatic eyeshadows. The glosses are not sticky at all and they have a pretty smell that I can't put my finger on. For me a pretty gloss can change my whole mood. |
This is a 'mini shade quartet'. These shades are tone on tone for 'the ultimate natural eye' The lower left coppery reddish brown shadow is a shade that I love using. It came with a "Mother of Pearl" shimmery nail polish. It really doesn't show up if you use if on a bare nail. If you put it on top of a solid color if give it a nice, opalescent, glow. It shifts from white to pink. | It came with a Tinted Brilliance Balm in "Lucent Glow". The name fits it perfectly. It really seems to make your lips light up with pink irridescent shimmer. This is the adorable pink quilted makeup bag that came with the gift set. I can never have too many makeup bags. |
This limited edition palette has 36 metallic colors. It is the Pixi eye alchemy metallic magic Palette. The colors i have used are very smooth, east to apply and have little fallout. | There are bold, dark and neutral shades. Some have bigger chunks of glitter that are really pretty on the eye. I consider this 'grown up glitter'. The palette comes with a double ended brush. I couldn't capture the color correctly with my dinosaur phone camera. This is the color that made me go back and get this palette. It is a dark purple with magenta glitter. This color is unlike any I have. |
