This shade was a lot better compared to the other I bought. I like oranges to use on my eye crease to make my blue eyes stand out. This is a decent pigment for my eye crease. It is sheer but you can definitely see the color. What I don't like is that you can't build the color up and the powder kind of feels like chalk residue on my hands. But for free, it's a pretty decent shadow that I will use.
Below are swatches of the shade. The shade with primer is on the right. With primer it didn't make it much better. It wouldn't build up so I still saw the primer underneath. Maybe with a different primer it might fare better. I used Fergie Shipmmer Take off the Day primer. After the swatches I will share how to try one of the Almay shadows out for free!
