The gift set above is an eyeshadow book palette. I bought this one first because I love the idea that I can bring it along with me to work in my purse for touch ups. It came with an eyeliner felt pen and a primer.
I used the blue and purple hues first. They were matte and shimmers. I always had good luck with this brand and most items are either $1 or $3. I thought the colors were ok, not great, in the palette. I just couldn't get the colors to mix right on my eyes. It was either too light or too dark. ( This is just a personal opinion. Many people will have no problems with the colors ) The shadows were surprisingly easy to fit a brush into and were not powdery or dry. I love the primer that comes with the gift sets. The felt eyeliner was fairly easy to use and came out even and pigmented. It was a great bargain for $5. I will give this eyeshadow book another try this week. I didn't like how I wasn't thrilled with this. I like this brand so much that I went to get the next size up geo eyeshadow gift set to try to see if there was any difference.

I highly suggest getting to Walgreens ASAP if you are interested in any of the E.L.F. sets. There are a few $3 sets that I want to pick up for $1.50. I wanted the brush collection but they did not have it in stock when I went to 2 Walgreens.
On a side note: If you are planning on picking up any cosmetic gift sets at Walgreens, make sure to check the price. There are certain brands and items that are not included in the 50% off sale and are regular price. Offhand I remember that the Fergie holiday sets including the Jet Set $30 palette are NOT included in the sale.
