I have always wanted to try Jessie's Girl polishes. The purple/blue one I have picked up a dozen times debating on whether to buy or not. Now I had to get it for .74 cents! I loved the blurple iridescent shimmer color called Confetti but the bottle was a huge fail. It's going in the circular file after this post. 90% of the bottle was dry and the rest was thick and goopy. The gold fared better. It went on nice and smooth. A little on the watery side. I liked the color, called 'Fools Gold'. These usually retail for $3.99. |
I found 2 Sally Hansen polishes I liked. A deep indigo micro glitter Insta Dri polish called 'Freeze!'. I really like this color although it does stain when I removed it. It was on clearance for $1.23 and regularly retails for $4.99-$5.99. I bought for .74 an Xtreme Wear blue/purple base with pink glitter polish called pink grapefruit. I was a little disappointed in it. It looks so pretty in the bottle but so sheer on the nail. You could barely see the glitter and there was no buildup potential. It might look nice over a dark polish so there is still hope. Xtreme polishes usually retail for $3.99. |
I buy cream shadow and always think that I'm going to use it. I rarely do. I think because I have had such poor wear times with cream shadows. I hate an hour into work staring into the mirror trying to push down onto my lids the shadow that built up in the crease. I saw the copper color and the price so I figured it was worth it. There is a rounded lime green shadow and a chiseled copper cream shadow. The chiseled side lets you use it as a liner. I am happy the copper side has the chiseled side. I will definitely try it as a liner. It was .50 and I had a $1 off MFC so I ended up getting it for free plus getting an extra .50 off my order. |
