Anyway, I picked up 2 china Glaze polishets from 2 of their new collections: Sea Goddess and City Flourish Collection. Each polish rang up $4.99 with my sally beauty card. They can range from $4-$6.
This neonish coral pink is from the City Flourish Collection from China Glaze. The color immediately caught my eye. I grabbed it before I hemmed and hawed and picked out something different. I was in a rush so I had no time to think and just picked on color I liked the color. I'm definitely going to use it in the summer. I'm just not thrilled with the formula. It doesn't go on evenly. It seems to dry lumpy if you put too heavy of a coat on. I had to do 4 coats to get it even. It even looked thick on my nails. The color is the only thing keeping me from hating this polish. I will not purchase another polish from this collection | 'Sand dolla make you Holla' is a textured glitter polish from the Sea Goddess collection. I read a lot of positive reviews about this polish online. One person called it 'Frosting with sprinkles'. I like frosting. I like sprinkles. It sounded like the perfect polish for me! I was a little disappointed in the polish. It is a white textured base with a hint of pink tone in it. It has the 'sand like' texture which I actually like. Then there is multi colored glitter. To me it looks more like the white tissue paper with glitter in it rather than frosting and cake. It kind of looked just 'okay' on my nails I can see this looking better in the summer when my hands have a little more color. I will definitely use this again but Im not crazy over this polish. I would try another polish firm this collection |
